VERSASPA SPRAY TAN BOOTH

The versaspa spray tan booth is the latest technology in spray tanning. The versaspa spray tan booth offers three levels of spray tans. The light spray tan is best suited for fair skinned people who are after the “health glow” look. The medium spray tan is suited to most skin types, and is our most popular spray tan option. Then the dark spray tan is only suitable for those with dark complexions who are after the “deep bronzed” look.

At Golden Tan Solarium we apply what we call the “GOLDEN RULE” to spray tanning: LESS IS MORE. The success of a spray tan is measured by how natural the spray tan looks. Therefore, when selecting what shade of colour you want in your spray tan, it is better to opt for the more conservative spray tan colour level. This way your spray tan will be done in a more natural shade and others will not be aware you have a spray tan.

SPRAY TAN MULTI-SESSIONS

A multi-session is when you combine 2 to 3 spray tan options in the one spray tan session. The Versaspa spray tan booth has the unique added option of preparation gel and moisturiser to enhance your spray tan. The preparation gel neutralises any pH imbalances in your skin which may affect your spray tan. The moisteriser enhances the quality and longevity of your spray tan. You can custom tailor your spray tan session to include any combination of these spray tan options.

SPRAY TAN SOLOUTION: WHAT IS IT?

The spray tan solution used in the Versaspa spray tan booth consists of DHA (dihydrxyacentone) along with anti-aging and skin firming compounds. DHA has been an approved cosmetic additive by the FDA for over 30 years (well before spray tanning). Chemists have refined spray tan technology to produce the most outstanding spray tan formulation giving each spray tan customer silky sooth, glowing skin with no residual odour.

SPRAY TANS: ARE THEY SAFE?

The FDA has approved DHA as a topical application and recommends spray tan customers to avoid inhaling or digesting DHA. The Versaspa spray tan booth has been designed to omit the least amount of solution necessary to achieve a full body spray tan. This reduces that amount of inhalable spray tan mist and makes your spray tan session a more pleasant experience.

SPRAY TAN SOLUTION: WILL IT STAIN?

There is no need to worry about getting stains from spray tan solution. The spray tan formula is completely water soluable. Spray tan customers may notice some initial cosmetic colour from their spray tan on the inside of their clothing, but the colour from the spray tan solution will wash out in cold water.

SPRAY TANS: ARE THEY AFFECTED BY WATER?

Spray tans are affected by water. Be sure to wait at least 4 hours after your spray tan to allow the spray tan formula to react to the amino acids and proteins in your skin. The longer you allow the spray tan solution to remain on your skin after the spray tan session, the longer lasting your spray tan will be. Swimming in highly chlorinated water will significantly reduce the result of your spray tan.

SPRAY TAN INSTRUCTIONS

Most Versaspa spray tan booth customers are amazed at how easy it is to get the perfect spray tan. Just follow these easy instructions:

• Undress and place your hair cover over your hair leaving your ears and hairline exposed.
• Enter the Versaspa spray tan booth and stand with your toes covering the coloured line. Press the green button to begin your spray tan session.
• Listen for the voiced instructions to ensure maximum spray tan results.
• If you are having a spray tan only, then the voiced instructions will talk you through 4 spray tan passes so you receive spray tan from 4 different angles. This gives you an even spray tan on your back, front and sides. After your spray tan is applied, remain in the Versaspa spray tan booth for your blow dry session to begin automatically. After the blow dry, your spray tan session is completed.
• If you are having a multi-session spray tan you will have 2 to 3 different sections of your spray tan session. The sections of the spray tan multi-session are done in the same order – preparation gel, spray tan then moisteriser. After each spray tan section you will be automatically dried by the blow dryer. You will need to press the green button to start each of the requested sections of your spray tan session.
• After your spray tan session, exit the Versaspa spray tan booth and get dressed.
